Iraq signs agreement with SpaceX

The Iraqi authorities have signed an agreement with SpaceX to introduce Starlink satellite internet services in the country, said Baligh Abu Kalal, Head of the Executive Authority of Iraq's Media and Communications Commission, Report informs.
According to him, the license granted to Starlink will allow citizens to access safe and high‑quality internet services at affordable connection prices.
Kalal also emphasized that granting the license to Starlink represents an important step toward developing Iraq's internet infrastructure and improving the quality of communication services.
