Azerbaijan to create AI community of 3,000 members

The AI ​​Academy, being established in Azerbaijan, plans to form an AI community of 3,000 people, Ibrahim Suleymanov, Chief Product Manager of the National Artificial Intelligence Center, said at the opening ceremony of the Artificial Intelligence Forum for Youth in Baku, Report informs.

He noted that the demand for AI specialists is rapidly growing, opening up broad professional opportunities for young people.

Suleymanov also noted that Azerbaijan's Artificial Intelligence Strategy for 2025–2028 calls for the creation of a broad, free educational platform with a reach of up to 10,000 users.

"There are also plans to establish a National Academy of Artificial Intelligence, collaborate with at least two foreign universities, train 500 engineers, and form an AI community of 3,000 people," he added.
