Azerbaijan provides 868 million manats in mobile communication services

Azerbaijan provided mobile phone communication services worth 868 million manats ($510.6 million) in January-August 2026, the State Statistical Committee told Report.

This figure is 5.1% more than in the first eight months of last year.

According to the data, information and communication enterprises provided a total of 2.75 billion manats ($1.62 billion) worth of services over eight months, which is 10.7% more in real terms than in the same period last year.

Of the services provided, 455 million manats ($267.6 million), or 16.6%, accounted for internet services; 435 million manats ($255.9 million), or 15.8%, for software development and consulting services in this field; 318 million manats ($187.1 million), or 11.6%, for information services; and 672.1 million manats ($395.4 million), or 24.4%, for other information and communication services.

Compared with the corresponding period of last year, software development and consulting services increased by 39.4%, internet services by 21.3%, information services by 13.4%, mobile phone communication services by 2.4%, and other information and communication services by 4.6%.
