WHO: No coronavirus cases recorded in Azerbaijan

The World Health Organization (WHO) recommends not to rely on rumors and read the news only on official websites in Azerbaijan.
“At present, no cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) infections have been reported in Azerbaijan. The World Health Organization keeps in touch with the relevant authorities. There is a set of diagnostic tools to detect disease by taking samples from suspected persons.
Essential protective measures against the new coronavirus:
- Wash your hands frequently
- Practice respiratory hygiene
- Maintain social distancing
- Avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth
- If you have fever, cough or difficulty breathing, seek medical care early
- As a general precaution, practice general hygiene measures when visiting live animal markets, wet markets or animal product markets
- Avoid consumption of raw or undercooked animal products
