Over 1 billion COVID jabs administered globally

More than 1 billion doses of coronavirus vaccines have already been administered worldwide, Report informs, citing Agence France-Presse (AFP).
According to AFP, the number of doses of vaccines administered as of April 24 is 1,002,938,540. They have been provided in 207 countries and territories that have launched vaccination campaigns.
Since the pandemic onset, more than 145 million people have contracted the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), and almost 3.1 million have died due to COVID-related health complications.
