Azerbaijan to buy 1,487 ambulances

It is planned to provide 1,487 emergency medical service (EMS) vehicles to medical institutions and emergency medical centers operating in Baku city and other cities and districts of Azerbaijan, Vugar Gurbanov, Executive Director of TABIB, said at the conference 'TABIB - Modern Quality Stage in Medicine: Real Perspectives, Vision of the Future'.
He said that so far, medical institutions have been provided with 909 ambulances:
"After the distribution of the newly acquired ambulances, the total number of EMS vehicles in use across the country will be 974."
