Azerbaijan confirms 2,457 new COVID-19 cases, 2,002 recovered

Azerbaijan recorded 2,457 new coronavirus cases over the past day, the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers told Report.
Meanwhile, 2,002 people recovered from the infection, and 34 patients succumbed to the deadly pathogen.
Overall, the country has reported 289,601 cases of infection, 253,762 recoveries, and 3, 978 deaths since the onset of the pandemic. At present, 31,861 people are receiving treatment.
Azerbaijan has conducted 3,040,386 COVID-19 tests over the past period, including 14,254 today.
