Russian FM meets ambassadors of CIS countries

On February 1, a meeting between Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and ambassadors of the CIS countries accredited to the Russian Federation took place in Moscow, the Russian bureau of Report informs referring to the Russian Foreign Ministry.
Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to the Russian Federation Polad Bulbuloglu also took part in the meeting.
During the event, the multilateral cooperation in the Commonwealth format in 2023 was summed up, key tasks for the future were outlined, taking into account the priorities of Russia’s chairmanship in the organization this year.
The meeting participants also exchanged views on current international and regional topics.
