Randa Al-Menshawy: Egypt at WUF13 called for accessible partnerships in urban development

Egypt expressed its readiness to work on the outcomes of the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) in Baku for inclusion in the interim report, Egyptian Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities Randa Al-Menshawy said at a ministerial roundtable held during the forum, Report informs.

"Egypt recognizes the existing challenges in urban development, including the gap between housing cost and affordability, the problem of informal settlements and unplanned housing, and the need for decentralized planning and data collection. The impact of climate change, which poses additional challenges for cities and governance systems, is particularly emphasized," she said.
