PM: Georgia to strengthen relations with Azerbaijan

One of the main directions of Georgia’s foreign policy in 2022 will be the strengthening of relations with Azerbaijan, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili said, reporting on the work done during the year, the Georgian bureau of Report informs.

He said that the focus will also be on the development of relations with Turkey and Armenia.

The head of government noted that Georgia will make the most of the potential in the region and develop infrastructure projects.

He praised the country’s foreign policy in 2021: “Several successful visits to the countries of the region have taken place. We continue to cooperate in this direction.”
