Armenia is closely cooperating with Azerbaijan and Türkiye on regional projects in the areas of communications and trade, which are expected to create additional potential for the South Caucasus, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said at the high-level meeting in the SCO Plus format.
Report quotes him as saying Armenia has concluded that no state can be sovereign and independent while being in conflict with other countries.
Pashinyan said that peace has now been established between Armenia and Azerbaijan, facilitated by the historic meeting held in Washington in August 2025 with the participation of US President Donald Trump.
"Now, naturally, we are working with Türkiye and Azerbaijan to implement regional projects in the areas of communications and trade. These projects, which will be implemented in the near future, will create additional potential for connecting the Caspian Basin with the Persian Gulf and will benefit all countries in the region," the prime minister said.
Pashinyan also noted that Armenia shares the principles of multipolarity.
