Pakistani PM thanks Azerbaijani President

“I am thankful to Ilham Aliyev, President of Azerbaijan, for approving the tax exemption on the import of Pakistani rice for five years,” Prime Minister of Pakistan, Shehbaz Sharif, wrote on Twitter, Report informs.
“Our two brotherly countries will work to promote economic cooperation & connectivity through road, rail & Gwadar port,” the Prime Minister tweeted.
The government of Azerbaijan exempted the import of rice from Pakistan from customs duty until December 31, 2027.
