Pakistan to host next ECO summit on March 1

Baku. 24 January. REPORT.AZ/ Pakistan will host the 13th Summit of the Economic Cooperation Organisation (ECO) in March this year.
Report informs citing the Pakistani media.
The ECO held its last summit in 2012 in Baku and now it is Pakistan's turn to host the meeting.
The member states of the organisation are Iran, Pakistan, Turkey, Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. ECO is a Eurasian political and economic intergovernmental organization which was founded in 1985 in Tehran by the leaders of Iran, Pakistan and Turkey.
It provides a platform to discuss ways to improve development and promote trade and investment opportunities.
