Observer from Kyrgyzstan: Elections held in Azerbaijan complied with democratic principles

The snap presidential elections held in Azerbaijan complied with universally accepted democratic principles, along with respect for rights and freedoms in all territories, Iskender Matraimov, an observer from Kyrgyzstan, said at a press conference, Report informs.
"All sections of the population were taken into account. Mobile boxes have been prepared for those who cannot come to the polling station due to their health. I congratulate the people of Azerbaijan on the occasion of the elections. I wish your country peace and prosperity," he noted.
The Kyrgyz MP stressed that the election legislation of Azerbaijan provides all necessary conditions for holding democratic elections.
