Jeyhun Bayramov receives new German ambassador to Azerbaijan

On July 28, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov received Dirk Lölke, the new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Germany to Azerbaijan, Report informs referring to Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Ambassador Dirk Lölke presented copies of his credentials to Jeyhun Bayramov.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state and development prospects of Azerbaijani-German relations, political dialogue, trade and economic cooperation, energy security, green energy, industry, transport and communications, as well as humanitarian and cultural interaction.

It was emphasized that the recent visit of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev to Germany laid the foundation for a new stage in bilateral relations.

The parties also noted the importance of the Joint Declaration on the Strategic Agenda for Bilateral Partnership, the establishment of the Azerbaijani-German Business Council, the further development of existing cooperation mechanisms, and continued high-level contacts.
