Governor: West Ukraine ready to boost cooperation with Azerbaijan

"The long-standing bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Ukraine create a serious potential for new projects. Especially there is a good base for this in Western Ukraine. ", Stepan Barna, governor of Ukraine's Ternopil province told Report.

He noted that the Western Ukraine region, which is rich in industrial products, is ready to strengthen cooperation with Azerbaijan in both trade and manufacturing: "Our spirit processing is very wide in the form of raw material. Moreover, we have some products that Azerbaijan is producing. Especially food products. We can do interesting projects on all of them. "

The governor also noted that there is great interest in the Azerbaijani culture in the province: "Azerbaijanis in our country are more active in the socio-political sphere. I think that, holding mutual cultural days, raising the number of joint scientific and cultural-historical conferences, and dynamics of exchange of ideas in tourism play a significant role in the promotion of the truths between the two nations”, - S. Barna said.
