Germany expects Azerbaijani President to visit Berlin this year

Germany hopes that Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev will make an official visit to Berlin this year, German Ambassador to Azerbaijan Ralf Horlemann said at a farewell meeting with journalists, Report informs.
"President Aliyev is invited to Germany. We hope he will visit Germany in the foreseeable future. There is no specific date yet, but we expect to host him on an official visit this year," he said.
He also emphasized that annual political consultations between the two countries have already taken place this year.
He added that in 2027, alongside political consultations, the high-level working group on trade and investment between Azerbaijan and Germany will continue its work.
