EU's new ambassador to arrive in Azerbaijan in September

The new head of the European Union's mission in Azerbaijan, Ambassador Peter Michalko, will arrive in Baku in September.
According to Report, the diplomat will assume the office after presenting credentials to the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev.
On August 4, the EU's High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell declared the appointment of a diplomat from Serbia, Peter Michalko, as the EU ambassador to Azerbaijan.
Michalko previously led the European Union mission in Moldova and, before that, represented Slovakia in Greece.
