Azerbaijani ambassador meets Georgian journalists, bloggers

Azerbaijan's Ambassador to Georgia Faiq Guliyev has met Georgian journalists and bloggers who took part in a familiarization tour of Azerbaijan, Report informs.

The meeting focused on the historically established friendship and good-neighborly relations between the Azerbaijani and Georgian peoples, as well as the importance of the strategic partnership between the two countries.

The ambassador highlighted the contribution of journalists and bloggers to informing the public in both countries and strengthening ties of friendship and cooperation.

Participants in the tour shared their impressions of visits to Baku and Ganja, as well as Shusha, Aghdam and Khankandi in Karabakh. They also spoke about the socio-economic and humanitarian projects they learned about during the trip, along with restoration and reconstruction work being carried out in the liberated territories.

The meeting also emphasized the importance of such familiarization tours and direct contacts in strengthening Azerbaijan-Georgia friendship and increasing mutual awareness between the peoples of the two countries.
