Azerbaijan to host Turkic Council Summit in 2017

Baku. 23 August. REPORT.AZ/ Azerbaijan will host the 7th Summit of the Turkic Council in 2017.
Report informs, this was stated by the secretary general of the organization Ramil Hasanov at the briefing.
Commenting on the question about expansion of the organization, Hasanov said that although such countries as Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan are not members oto the organization, they take part in the activities of the Turkic Counciland and the organization is trying to involve them in it.
"In addition, we are inviting Hungary to our events. There is also a statement of is the Russian Foreign Ministry's interest in deepening ties with the organization.", - he concluded.
