Azerbaijan, Serbia may establish direct flights

Azerbaijan and Serbia are considering the possibility of establishing direct flights between Baku and Belgrade. Serbian Foreign Minister Nikola Selakovic said at a press conference, Report informs.
The Serbian minister noted that Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev is expected to visit Belgrade in October 2021.
“The Azerbaijani and Serbian presidents are expected to sign a number of documents during the meeting and discuss important agreements. Among them are the liberalization of visas and the opening of direct flights between the Serbian and Azerbaijani capitals,” he said.
According to Selakovic, it will be a significant impetus in developing cooperation in the economy and tourism.
