Azerbaijan named country of honor at international Moroccan diaspora meeting

The Embassy of Azerbaijan in Morocco participated in the 2nd International Meeting of Moroccans of the World, held in Larache on August 2-4, 2026, Report informs, citing a post on X by Azerbaijan's ambassador to Morocco, Nazim Samadov.

Azerbaijan was named the country of honor for this edition of the event.

On this occasion, Chargé d'Affaires of the embassy Tural Rasulov delivered remarks highlighting the excellent relations of friendship and cooperation between Azerbaijan and Morocco.

He also emphasized the essential role of diasporas in bringing peoples closer together and developing international exchanges.

L'Ambassade de la République d'Azerbaïdjan au Royaume du Maroc a eu l'honneur de participer à la 2ème Rencontre Internationale des Marocains du Monde, organisée à Larache du 2 au 4 août 2026, où l'Azerbaïdjan a été désigné pays d'honneur de cette édition.
