The biggest project between Hungary and Azerbaijan in the field of renewable energy at the moment is the creation of a green energy corridor, Ambassador of Hungary to Azerbaijan Tamas Torma told Report.
He noted that the project envisages the export of renewable electricity from Azerbaijan to Europe along the bottom of the Black Sea.
"Georgia and Romania are also participating in the implementation of the initiative. The commissioning of the facility is expected in the early 2030s," the diplomat said.
Torma added that the Hungarian energy company MVM is negotiating with Azerbaijan on other projects in the renewable energy.
