An intergovernmental document signed in Zangilan defines the strategic directions of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Russia, Russia's Trade Representative in Azerbaijan, Adam Khakimov, said in an interview with Report.
"Recently, an intergovernmental document was signed between Azerbaijan and Russia in Zangilan. In this document, we outlined all strategic areas of cooperation. It was particularly significant for us that the signing took place in Zangilan," he said.
According to Khakimov, Azerbaijan remains one of Russia's key partners in the South Caucasus.
He emphasized that one of the priorities for Russian business in Azerbaijan will be expanding its presence, including the activities of Russian companies in the liberated territories.
In addition, he noted that Azerbaijan's industrial parks, technology parks, and special economic zones are viewed by the Russian side as important platforms for localizing production and further exporting products to foreign markets.
