The number of teams advancing to the playoffs at the FIFA World Cup 2026 has reached seven.

According to Report, following the second round of group stage matches, Mexico, the United States, Germany, France, Norway, Argentina, and Colombia have all confirmed their places in the round of 16.

The third round of the group stage is set to begin today.

The United States, Canada, and Mexico are jointly hosting the tournament. The competition will conclude on July 19.
