Mahir Emreli undergoes medical tests at Raków

Azerbaijani national team striker Mahir Emreli is close to completing his transfer to Poland's Raków Częstochowa.

According to Report, the 29‑year‑old forward is currently undergoing medical examinations with the Ekstraklasa club.

His move to Raków is expected to be announced later today or tomorrow. The Częstochowa side finished fourth in last season's league, securing a place in the UEFA Conference League, where they will face Valletta (Malta) in the second qualifying round.

Emreli last played for Germany's 1. FC Kaiserslautern, and earlier, in the first half of the 2021/2022 season, he contributed to the success of Legia Warsaw in Poland.
