Elshad Guliyev: Azerbaijan will not slow down after European Championship triumph

Head coach of Azerbaijan's national minifootball team Elshad Guliyev said the team has no intention of easing its pace following its latest success at the European Mini-Football Championship.

Speaking to journalists upon the team's arrival in Baku, Guliyev said Azerbaijan had come through a series of difficult matches on its way to winning the European title for the second time.

"We played very tough matches, but despite that, we achieved victory. We have become European champions for the second time. I do not want us to slow down after this," the head coach said.

Guliyev noted that the team had endured demanding training camps and entered the tournament facing physical fatigue, but managed to achieve success thanks to strong determination and fighting spirit.

"We will approach our upcoming matches with the same sense of responsibility," he added.
