Surplus of Azerbaijan's consolidated budget up nearly 6 times

In 2023, the revenues of the consolidated budget of Azerbaijan amounted to 50,343.6 million manats ($29.6 billion), and the expenditures amounted to 40,313.8 million manats ($23.7 billion).
Report informs, citing the Ministry of Finance, that these figures are 16.8% and 14.9% more than in 2022, respectively, and 16.9% more and 2.3% less than the forecast.
As a result, a surplus of the consolidated budget made up 10,029.8 million manats ($5.9 billion), which is 5.6 times more than a year ago.
