Leaders of Pakistan, Iran mull regional situation

Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian have discussed the regional situation during a telephone conversation, Report informs.
The two sides discussed the current situation in the region and emphasized the importance of restraint, dialogue, and diplomacy to preserve the peaceful gains made in recent months, the Pakistani leader wrote in social media.
Sharif reiterated Pakistan's readiness to act as an impartial and sincere mediator to ensure sustainable peace in the region.
During the conversation, an agreement was also reached to advance the bilateral cooperation agenda agreed upon during Pezeshkian's recent visit to Islamabad.
