IMF: Ratio of foreign direct investments to GDP in Azerbaijan will decrease

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) predicts that the ratio of foreign direct investments to the gross domestic product (GDP) in Azerbaijan will be 3.4% this year, Report informs, citing the Concluding Statement of the IMF on the 2022 Article IV consultation from May 25 to June 7, 2022, in Baku.
According to the document, this is 0.4 percentage points less than the actual indicator of last year.
In the next 5 years (2023-2027), the ratio of foreign direct investments to GDP is predicted to be 3.1%, 2.9%, 2.7%, 2.5% and 2.2%, respectively.
