Central Bank of Azerbaijan reduces discount rate

The Board of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) decided to reduce the discount rate by 0.5 percentage points from 8.5% to 8%.

Report informs, citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, that, according to the decision, the upper limit of the interest rate corridor was reduced from 9.5% to 9%, and the lower limit was reduced by 0.5 percentage points from 7% to 6.5%.

This decision comes into force from tomorrow.
