CBA First Deputy Chairman meets with reps of US financial sector

The delegation led by Aliyar Mammadyarov, First Deputy Chairman of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), met with Daniel Zelikow, Vice Chair at JP Morgan, as well as Georgi Yordanov, Head of the Public Sector for Europe, Middle East and North Africa region and Managing Director of Citi Group, during their visit to the US, Report informs, referring to the CBA.

The current state of macroeconomic and financial stability in Azerbaijan, partnership opportunities between the institutions, as well as prospects for expanding cooperation between financial institutions of both countries were discussed at the meetings.

The final meeting of the Azerbaijani delegation within the framework of the Spring Meetings was held with Jan Willems, Head of Product Management Global Markets at Clearstream, and Christian Rossler, Vice President Collateral, Lending & Liquidity Solutions at Clearstream.

The meeting included an exchange of views on potential bilateral relations between the organizations and important initiatives on the agenda.
