CBA Chairman: Depositors of AGBank and NBC Bank have no reason to worry

Results of analysis about AGBank and NBC Bank will be publicized, Chairman of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan Elman Rustamov said in the press conference.

“The depositors have no reason to worry, their deposits are insured. Salaries of employees will also be paid,” he said.

Rustamov also commented on the consolidation of these banks: “They cannot be consolidated after revoking of licenses. We are already about to complete out works in these banks, and they will be handed over to Azerbaijan Deposits Insurance Fund.”
