Cashless transactions reach record high in Azerbaijan

In 2020, the cashless transactions across the country reached a record high – AZN 6.4 billion, Report informs, citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).
Moreover, the transfers via e-banking amounted to AZN 95.7 billion.
The CBA continues mutual activity with the relevant state bodies to achieve goals on the strengthening of the institutional and legal base of the digital payment services, range of those services by increasing infrastructure option, expansion of quality, and scope of application.
