Budget revenues from excise tax through customs authorities to decrease in Azerbaijan

Next year, revenues to Azerbaijan’s state budget from the excise tax through the customs authorities are expected in the amount of 160 million manats, Report informs referring to the draft law on the state budget for 2022.
According to the document, this is 5.9% less than the approved forecast for 2021.
This decline, according to macroeconomic forecasts, is related to another increase in domestic production of a number of excisable goods, including cigarettes, and a reduction in imports.
