Azerbaijan's foreign debt down almost 8%

As of July 1, 2026, Azerbaijan's external public debt stood at approximately $4.617 billion, marking a 7.9% decrease year-on-year, Report informs, citing the country's State Statistical Committee.
In June alone, the country's foreign debt fell by $25.6 million.
Meanwhile, in 2025, Azerbaijan's external debt decreased by 6.7%, exceeding $4.813 billion.
