Azerbaijan's economy shrinks by 2.5%

In January, Azerbaijan’s GDP amounted to 6,256,800,000 manats (over $3.68 billion), or 2.5% less than in the same month last year, Report informs with reference to the country’s State Statistical Committee.
GDP in the non-oil sector fell by 6.2%, while in the oil and gas sector, it grew by 0.1%.
In the structure of GDP, 40.6% is industry, 10.6% is trade and repair of vehicles, 8.1% are transport and warehousing, 4.9% is construction, 3% is agriculture, forestry and fishing, 1.9% is information and communication, 0.6% are tourist accommodation and public catering, 20.6% are other sectors. Net taxes on products and imports amounted to 9.7% of GDP.
GDP per capita dropped 4.25% to 626 manats ($368.4)
