Azerbaijan ranks second in foreign investment in Georgia

Foreign direct investment in Georgia increased by 19.3% in 2025, reaching $1.9 billion, according to the updated data released by Georgia's National Statistics Office (Geostat), cited by Report's Georgian bureau.
The largest volume of investment came from the United Kingdom - $426.6 million, accounting for 22.4% of total investment.
Azerbaijan ranked second with $214.4 million in investments. Azerbaijan's share of Georgia's total foreign direct investment amounted to 11.3%. Türkiye ranked third with $202.4 million, accounting for 10.6%.
Thus, the combined share of the United Kingdom, Azerbaijan and Türkiye in total foreign direct investment attracted by Georgia in 2025 amounted to 44.4%.
