Azerbaijan imports $1.35B in Turkish goods in seven months

Azerbaijan imported goods worth $1.35 billion from Türkiye during the January-July period of this year, Report informs, citing data from the Turkish Exporters Assembly.
The value of imports was down 0.4% compared with the same period last year.
During the first seven months of the year, exports to Azerbaijan accounted for 1% of Türkiye's total exports.
In July alone, Türkiye exported goods worth $223.5 million to Azerbaijan, marking a 9.1% increase compared with July last year.
Germany remained the largest importer of Turkish goods during the January-July period, purchasing products worth $12.8 billion, up 4.4% year-on-year. The United States ranked second with imports totaling $8.25 billion, an increase of 9.4%, followed by the United Kingdom with $8.078 billion, up 1.2%.
Türkiye's total exports increased by 4.2% year-on-year to $141.04 billion in the first seven months of the year. In July, total exports rose 2.1% from a year earlier to $22.078 billion.
