Azerbaijan gets 17% rise in beverage production

Azerbaijan produced 35,130,600 dekaliters of beverage in January-September 2022, up 17% from a year earlier, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee (SSC).
In the reporting period, vodka production made up 843.9 thousand dekaliters (19.6% less than a year ago), whiskey-cognac production rose 2.7-fold to 49.5 thousand dekaliters, grape wine production stood at 606.4 thousand dekaliters (up 58%), beer production slipped 6.4% to 3,775,700 dekaliters, soft drinks production increased by 9.6% to 29,855,100 dekaliters.
As of October 1, the finished products on alcoholic drinks were 1,417,200 dekaliters, on soft drinks – 359,100 dekaliters, respectively, down 10% and 38% from the previous year.
