SOCAR to build high-speed charging stations in Switzerland

SOCAR Energy Switzerland, a Swiss subsidiary of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), plans to build 20 high-speed charging stations in Switzerland by 2023.
According to SOCAR's Sustainable Development Report for 2020, the number of petrol stations operating in Switzerland under the SOCAR brand increased by 4.7% to 200.
SOCAR Energy Switzerland is engaged in the wholesale and retail sale of petroleum products in the Swiss market. Under an agreement signed between SOCAR and ExxonMobil in 2012, Esso Switzerland's assets came under SOCAR's control.
