EIA keeps Azerbaijan oil output forecast unchanged for 2026

The US Energy Information Administration, or EIA, has kept its forecast for Azerbaijan's daily oil production in 2026 unchanged, Report informs.
This was noted in the August edition of the EIA's Short-Term Energy Outlook.
According to the EIA's updated data, oil production in Azerbaijan will amount to 550,000 barrels per day this year. The forecast was the same last month.
Oil production is expected to stand at 540,000 barrels per day in both the third and fourth quarters of this year. The July forecast for those quarters also stood at 540,000 barrels per day.
In the first and second quarters of 2025, oil production amounted to 570,000 barrels per day, while in the third and fourth quarters it stood at 560,000 barrels per day.
According to the EIA, production of liquid hydrocarbons in Azerbaijan stood at 570,000 barrels per day in 2025.
