Cost of Garadagh Solar Power Plant announced

The Garadagh Solar Power Plant (SPP) is estimated at $225 million, said UAE Minister of Energy and Infrastructure Suhail Mohamed Al Mazrouei, Report informs.

Azerbaijani Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov said that 700 people would be employed owing to the station's construction and other projects implemented by the UAE company Masdar. After the commissioning of the HPP, 25-30 people will work here.

The minister added that 110,000 apartments would be supplied with electricity at the expense of the SPP.
