Azerbaijan's gasoline production up almost 8% in five months

In January–May 2026, Azerbaijan produced 591,400 tons of motor gasoline, marking a 7.9% increase compared with the same period in 2025, Report informs, citing the country's State Statistical Committee.
The total value of petroleum product output during the reporting period amounted to 2.457 billion manats (just over $1.445 billion), down 4.1%.
Diesel fuel production stood at 937,900 tons, remaining at last year's level.
In the past five months, Azerbaijan produced 31,000 tons of fuel oil (down 45.2%), 17,400 tons of lubricants (up 16%), and 51,300 tons of petroleum bitumen (down 41.4%).
Additionally, 79,400 tons of liquefied gas (down 14.3%), 217,000 tons of kerosene (down 18.7%), and 97,300 tons of petroleum coke (up 14.9%) were produced.
