Azerbaijan imported AI-98 gasoline in record volumes

In the first ten months of this year, 2,684.79 tons of AI-98 (Super) motor gasoline worth $2.395 million were imported to Azerbaijan, Report informs referring to the State Statistics Committee.

Report informs that this is a record level over the past 11 years (official statistics on foreign trade in the public domain - since 2011).

Supplies of gasoline of this brand for ten months compared to the same period last year increased in value terms by 40.36%, in quantitative terms - by 24.56%, in October compared to the previous month - by 19.93% and 17.2% respectively. In October, gasoline of this brand was imported only from Lithuania. In the reporting month, 397.71 tons of this fuel were purchased from this Baltic country for $397,990.

Since the beginning of the year, 1,325.74 tons of AI-98 gasoline were purchased from Romania for $1.076 million, from Lithuania - 1,020.77 tons for $1.032 million, from Belarus - 237.45 tons for $196,460, from Greece - 100.83 tons for $90,330.
