Aydin Karimov: Shusha has no water shortage in any season

There is now no water shortage in Shusha in any season, Aydin Karimov, Special Representative of the President of Azerbaijan in the Shusha district, stated during the event themed Post-Conflict Urban Planning: Restoring Destroyed Identity and Rebuilding an Integrated Future held at the Azerbaijan Pavilion within the 13th Session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) in Baku, Report informs.

Karimov noted that transport infrastructure in Shusha has been ensured: "On the Ahmadbayli–Fuzuli–Shusha highway, construction of seven road tunnels with a total length of 12.7 km (in both directions) has been carried out. Road construction and underground utility lines have been implemented from Garabagh Street toward Chukhur neighborhood (Torpag Square), along with the installation of underground communication networks."

He added that the construction of the Aghdam–Asgaran–Khojaly–Khankandi highway has reduced the distance to Shusha. One of the city's internal routes now operates with four electric buses.

It was also reported that a cable car project between Shusha and Khankandi is being prepared.
