President issues order on solution of water supply problems 

President Ilham Aliyev has signed an order on "Additional measures to improve the supply of irrigation water to arable lands in some regions and meet the needs of the population for drinking water."

Under the Order, AZN 1.75 million was allocated for Azerbaijan Amelioration and Water management OJSC for digging 25 sub-artesian wells to improve irrigation of cultivable lands and supply of drinking water for 29,662 people in 16 residential areas in 5 districts.

The sub-artesian wells will be in Beylegan, Jabrayil (territory of Bilasuvar), Fuzuli, Khojavend, Shusha (territory of Aghdam).
