The State Committee on Work with Diaspora supports various specialized forums and has developed a roadmap specifically related to the engineering profession, Fuad Muradov, Chairman of the State Committee on Work with Diaspora, told Report's European bureau.
"Many Azerbaijanis in Europe have received high-quality engineering education and gained valuable professional experience in this field. Therefore, the State Committee seeks to ensure that this expertise also benefits Azerbaijan," he emphasized.
According to Muradov, the primary goal of the forum is to create opportunities and a platform for cooperation among Azerbaijani professionals living across Europe. He noted that the event also serves as an important venue for discussing emerging technologies and exploring ways to apply the participants' knowledge and skills to Azerbaijan's development.
Muradov added that such events help establish cooperation between educational institutions in Germany and Azerbaijan, opening prospects for joint projects in the future.
"This is already the third forum held with our support. Interest in participation remains high, with more than 200 Azerbaijani engineers living in Europe having registered for the event," he said.
He further noted that discussions held during the first two forums resulted in a number of proposals that have already been submitted to various government agencies and institutions.
"I am confident that these efforts will produce positive results. The Alliance of Azerbaijanis in Germany, which unites diaspora representatives across all federal states of Germany, is the main organizer of the forum and will continue this work in the future," Muradov concluded.
