Karabakh has changed significantly over the past three years, camp participant says

There were many destroyed places in Karabakh three years ago, but now it has been rebuilt and improved, Yusif Najafli, a participant of the 7th Summer Camp of Diaspora Youth, told Report.

He said he moved to Canada with his parents when he was six years old and currently lives and studies there.

"Many people think I am Canadian, but I am 100% Azerbaijani. There is a big difference between my visit to Karabakh three years ago and my visit now. I remember that there were many destroyed places back then, but now the situation has changed and the area has been restored," he said.

Najafli added that his goal at the camp is to learn more about Azerbaijan and improve his Azerbaijani language skills.

"I also want to make Azerbaijani friends and get to know the country's culture and history more closely," he said.
