Volume of cargo transportation by sea in Azerbaijan tripled

In January–September 2023, 2,025,985 tons of cargo (+3.1 times) worth $1,409,120,000 (+39.5%) were transported by sea in Azerbaijan, Report informs, referring to the State Customs Committee.

Besides, in the 9 months of the current year, 62,314 tons (+32%) worth $131,999,000 (+2.9 times) were exported by sea transport, and 1,963,670 tons (+3.3 times) of cargo worth $1,277,121,000 (+37%) were imported.
